The Convair CV-580, a popular medium haul medium load transport aircraft in the 1960s and 70s, was built as a successor to the CV-340 and Martin 404 with Allison Turboprop engines. Fully animated features include propellers, ailerons, flaps, elevators, landing gear, and landing gear doors. Available in multiple formats, this scale model is meticulously textured. It was used by major and regional airlines until the 70s and 80s when replaced by jets like DC-9 and 737s. Despite being out of service for most, some CV-580s remain operational worldwide.
