Convair CV-340 Western Airlines 3D model
cgtrader
The model replicates the actual Convair 340, featuring moveable propellers, ailerons, flaps, elevators, landing gears, and landing gear doors. It's available in multiple formats and is intricately textured based on its real-life dimensions. This aircraft, initially built for United Airlines and other operators like KLM as an extended version of the CV-240 with a larger seating capacity and longer wingspan, served major commercial airlines in the '50s and '60s. Despite being replaced by jets such as DC-9 and 737s in the mid-'70s, it continued to serve as charter and cargo aircraft. Pressurized, it could comfortably transport up to 60 passengers at higher altitudes.
