It has animatable components such as propellers, ailerons, flaps, elevators, landing gear, and landing gear doors. Available in multiple formats, it represents the Convair 340 - a popular mid-range commercial aircraft in the '50s and '60s. Operated by major airlines until the mid-70s when jets like DC-9 and 737s took over. Initially built for United Airlines and other carriers, including KLM, it was an extended CV-240 with added seating capacity and longer wingspan for improved high-altitude performance. Pressurized, it could accommodate up to 60 passengers comfortably. Later used as a charter and cargo plane.
