Available in various formats, it represents the Convair 340, a popular medium-haul commercial aircraft of the 1950s and 60s. Operated by major airlines until the mid-70s, it was often replaced by DC-9 and 737 jets. Originally built for United Airlines and other carriers like KLM as an extended CV-240 with increased seating and wing span, this pressurized plane could comfortably transport up to 60 passengers.
