The Convair 340, a popular medium haul commercial aircraft in the 1950s and 1960s, was constructed with near-actual dimensions and boasts fully textured features including moveable parts like propellers, ailerons, flaps, elevators, landing gear, and landing gear doors. Available in various formats, this model initially served major airlines until the mid-70s when it was replaced by jets such as DC-9s and 737s. Initially built for United Airlines and other carriers like KLM, which was an extended version of CV-240 with extra seats and increased wingspan for enhanced altitude performance, this pressurized plane could accommodate up to 60 passengers comfortably. Later, it was used as a charter aircraft and cargo carrier.
