The model accurately represents the actual size of the Convair 340, a popular medium haul transport aircraft for commercial airlines during the 1950s and 1960s. It features fully textured components such as propellers, ailerons, flaps, elevators, landing gear, and landing gear doors that can be animated. Available in various formats, this model was initially built for United Airlines and other operators like KLM, which was an extended version of the CV-240 with added seats and longer wingspan for better altitude performance.
