First supersonic USA bomber and first capable of reaching Mach 2, this aircraft is undoubtedly one of the most stunning designs ever conceived. Introduced in 1960, its career was brief due to its typical mission being to fly directly to the target at high speed and high altitude. However, the emergence of new generation surface-to-air missiles (SAM) available to Warsaw Pact countries made it less effective. The shift towards a low-altitude penetration doctrine reduced its range and subsequently its strategic capabilities. Other models, such as the FB-111 and Lancer, quickly rendered it obsolete. Last flight took place in January 1970. This model can be equipped with either the Two-Component Pod (TCP) or just the upper component; both STL files are included. The STL model is scaled at 1:100, printed with a 0.4mm nozzle and sliced at 0.12mm. I printed it exactly as shown in the images, but cleaning was not easy. Erik
