thingiverse

First Mach 2-capable USA bomber, introduced in 1960 with a remarkably short career due to its high-speed, high-altitude mission profile making it less effective against Warsaw Pact countries' advanced SAM systems. The shift towards low-altitude penetration tactics severely curtailed its range and strategic value, rendering it quickly obsolete in favor of newer models like the FB-111 and F-111 Lancer. Its final flight took place in January 1970. This model comes with optional Two-Component Pod (TCP) configurations, available as STL files for 3D printing at a scale of 1:100 using a 0.4mm nozzle and sliced at 0.12mm layer thickness. Prints were successfully completed as depicted in the images, although cleaning was found to be moderately challenging. STL Model Details: - Scale: 1:100 - Print Settings: - Nozzle Diameter: 0.4mm - Layer Thickness: 0.12mm
