The B-36A and B-36B, used for training purposes, only feature propellers. However, from the B-36D onwards, the aircraft incorporated four jet engines, housed in pods of two beneath the wings outside the propeller engines. The model boasts accurate paint schemes and detailed features from actual squadrons. It also includes animated elements like turbines, flaps, ailerons, rudder, elevators, retractable landing gear, and landing gear doors, along with an animated propulsion system. The Convair B-36 "Peacemaker" was a strategic bomber operated by the USAF between 1949 and 1959. It holds the distinction of being the largest mass-produced piston engine aircraft ever made and possessing the longest wingspan among combat aircraft. Operated solely by the USAF, this long-range bomber was designed to reach targets in the Soviet Union. Crewed by 13 members, these aircraft were notorious for their noise levels, often breaking windows and cracking plaster during low flights over buildings. The Strategic Air Command extensively utilized the B-36, which gained further popularity from its appearance in the Jimmy Stewart movie "Strategic Air Command." Additionally, a project was initiated for a jet-powered swept wing variant known as 36G/YB-60.
