Controller with LCD and SD card - V2
thingiverse
This controller sports a 4-line, 20-character LCD display, an SD card, and an encoder switch featuring a select button and back option. I've recently updated my previous controller available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:293854, implementing numerous improvements including the incorporation of a PCB layout, an innovative new back option that relocates the SD card to the top, and additional tiny components. Comprehensive Instructions The instructions have been extensively revised to now encompass detailed schematics, essential firmware notes, and comprehensive PCB foils. Instructions Detailed directions are found in a PDF file nestled within "Things." Important Update: Some encoders feature a frame containing four indents which can accidentally short circuit the PCB, inadvertently locking the select button on the encoder into an 'on' state. To prevent this, it is advised to cover the conductors underneath the encoder with insulating tape – Kapton tape works remarkably well for this purpose.
