<img alt="example video" src="https://raw.githubusercontent.com/wiki/opiopan/simhid-g1000/images/movie.gif"> This is a input device that imitates Garmin G1000 glass cockpit system for controlling flight simulators.<br> This device is designed to utilize a iPad as a display. iPad, iPad Air or iPad Pro with a display from 10.2 inches to 11 inches can be applied to this device.<br> Most parts that make up this device are 3D printed by FDM, but some parts are cut out and engraved from a 2mm thick acrylic plate using a laser cutter.<br> The details of this project are hosted at https://github.com/opiopan/simhid-g1000. If you modify this design, Editing [this Fusion 360 format data](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/wiki/opiopan/simhid-g1000/data/SimHID-G1000.f3z) may be easer than editing mesh data published here. ### Laser Cutting "```top_panel.pdf```" is the vector data for laser cutter, red lines are outline to cut and black shapes indicate to engrave.<br> Matt black 2mm thick acrylic plate is well to fit. ### Multiple Printing Some models need to be printed multiple times as below. In order to print a version for left slot, mirror the model "```stand_right.stl```" on any axis.
