An acrylic cover and mounting kit is designed for the Arduino Mega 2560 and Ramps 1.4 controller boards used on a Folger Technologies RepRap 2020 Prusa i3. To bend the acrylic sheet, make a wooden clamp to hold it in place and use a sharp corner. Use another wood sheet to create a gap of about 4mm for heat from a hot air gun or hairdryer to focus on. Remove the wooden sheet when the acrylic starts to bend and use it to shape the sheet into a sharp 90 degree corner. When making the second bend, ensure the internal dimension is at least 60mm. Drill the three holes after bending the sheet as their placement depends on one of the bends. Check the dimensions for the three holes against your controller. The hole on top of the cover allows the reset button to be pressed. It's crucial to use spacers to mount the controller boards so that Nylock nuts can be tightened enough to prevent them from spinning when thumb nuts are attached to hold the cover in place.
