Controllable Pitch Propeller
thingiverse
This is a reverse-engineered demo for display at Bay Area Maker Faire, designed to showcase the inner workings of a controllable pitch propeller in detail. Ideally, the hub should be transparent to give a clear view inside, but unfortunately I don't have access to the necessary equipment. All threads are metrically precise: holes are tapped by hand to ensure accurate alignment and a secure fit. The plastic tubing used is measured in English dimensions, as that's all that was readily available locally.
