Control Post Tops - Offset Stake
thingiverse
I've already designed Control Post Tops to suit the different SPORTident control box mounting plates with 20 mm fixing centres. These have a central stake socket and have been designed for contained nuts in hexagonal recesses. Dependent on various factors, these designs can result in the nut spinning in the recess before the fixing has been sufficiently tightened. A better fixing solution is to use a 1/4" drive socket to hold the nut, but the 20 mm fixing centres do not allow this with a centrally located stake. Therefore, I've produced these two designs with an offset stake. Note: These designs have the ovality of the stake oriented along the axis of the SPORTident control box mounting plate. If you would prefer the ovality to be oriented transversely (i.e. for some of the available steel-spike electric fence posts), then message me.
