Control Box SKR Pico with Mains Heated Bed
thingiverse
This is an enclosure I designed to house the electronics for my 3D printer. I've uploaded both the STL's as well as the Inventor Part files. This enclosure houses a MeanWell LRS 150 PSU, a Fotek (Clone) SSR for a mains heated bed, a Raspberry Pi 4, an SKR Pico on top of the Pi 4, 2 40mm fans, and two LM2596 DC-DC converters. The only part of this enclosure that requires supports is the 4 tabs at the top which hold the lid to the enclosure. I recommend using tree/organic supports for the tabs and using a support blocker on the fan holes and exhaust vents on the back. The enclosures mounting dimensions were designed with the use of heatset inserts in mind. The mounting points for the pi/skr and the LM2596 converters use m2.5 heatset inserts, the SSR uses M4 heatset inserts, and the 4 tabs at the top use m3 heatset inserts. Be aware that it is a tight fit when plugging cables into the SKR. Specifically any fans should be attached to the SKR before mounting. I have printed, test fitted, and am currently using this design though I may update it later. While I printed this on my Creality CR10, it should in theory fit on an Ender 3 sized build plate.
