This is a control box enclosure I created for my Ender 3 Pro with the Ender Extender 400 mod. It's specifically designed for the SKR 1.3 board, but other models will likely fit as well. The enclosure is heavy-duty and may take some time to print. The grill on top is attached to the lid using Shoe Goo, which can be found at Walmart. This adhesive works really well and stays flexible, making it easy to separate parts if needed. Only a small amount of Shoe Goo is required. Three millimeter screws secure the lid in place from the back. The control box mounts with two 5mm x 8mm screws on each side, using T-nuts for added stability. Shims are included to ensure a snug fit from left to right. There's plenty of room around the board for wiring, but adding anything else would be a tight squeeze. I don't use a Pi and have my solid-state relay in a separate box instead. I hadn't planned on sharing this design, but several people asked about it, so here it is. My Ender 3 Pro has its fan blowing down, and the enclosure temperature remains around 84 degrees Fahrenheit after a few hours of printing, never exceeding that mark. The grill is positioned directly above the stepper drivers. My intention behind this design was to allow for natural airflow in case the fan fails during the night, venting heat out through the grill. So far, it's worked beautifully for me. I hope you find this design useful and enjoy using it!
