CONTROL BOX COVER FOR ENDER 3

CONTROL BOX COVER FOR ENDER 3

I'm creating a custom control box cover for my Ender 3 printer. Most designs I've seen only cover the fan area, but I wanted a complete motherboard housing cover with a built-in vent for airflow. This way, plastic debris won't accumulate inside the control box. To assemble this cover, you'll need M2 or M3 screws to secure the original fan in place. I didn't measure the length of these screws, but all three ended up being longer than their predecessors. Before attaching the new lid, I tested the screw fitment and found that the slots for the front screws were fairly tight, but not sufficient to warrant redesigning. You can paint this cover to give it a personalized look and seal it for added heat resistance. The control box shouldn't overheat, but anything is possible in the world of 3D printing. I'll try to post a photo of my printer with this custom cover soon.
