This is a fan duct for 40mm fans inside the X1 carbon. It relocates the stock control board fan to above the heat sink pulling fresh air from the vent and blowing it across the fin stack. The duct press fits on to the fin stack, fitment might be a little tight and the model might need some reworking for minor variations between machines. Fan also should press fit into the top of the duct. Print with a .4mm nozzle at your preferred resolution wide end down, no supports needed.
