Introducing Contraptor, an open-source DIY construction set designed for building Cartesian robots. Inspired by 1" aluminum Erector sets, it features linear motion extensions and can be assembled using basic workshop tools. The modular design incorporates Makerbot/Reprap electronics and Arduino/Sanguino controllers. Future plans include shop-able kits from open source drawings and more Contraptor things on Thingiverse.
