Contraptor - Dremel Flex Mount
thingiverse
The Contraptor project, an open-source hardware prototyping and construction platform by myself and Vitaly Mankevich, can be further explored at http://Contraptor.org. As part of this initiative, a Dremel Flex mount is being utilized as the Z-Axis for a CNC machine. This mount guarantees a tight fit that doesn't move. To install it, you need to slide the flex connector upwards, allowing the top piece to follow suit before the rest effortlessly fits into place. The material chosen was 1/4 black plexi-glass, which features the Contraptor logo. If desired, this logo can be removed without compromising the project.
