Contra Rotating Heringbone Gears

Warning: Currently, I do not have functional printers (one is under repair at the moment), so I haven't been able to test the tolerance yet. I've been working on a project with my kids to study aircraft equipped with contra-rotating propellers, like the P51 Racer. I decided to also explore CAD herringbone style gears. These are uncharted territories, but I thought it worth sharing as is for now. Designed to be built using M3 45mm screws and some M3 hex nuts, the small gears are held in place by the frame while the inner and outer gears can rotate. They move in opposite directions (contra-rotation). I designed it large to provide my kids with a better hands-on experience as we study these engineering aspects. This experiment will lead to later, smaller designs that will be attached to motors. For this, we will need to obtain better printers with extremely high resolution.
