Contoured pencil/pen/eraser case with magnetic closure

This pencil case was specifically designed for three of my favorite drawing tools: a Staedtler 0.7 mm 925 Series mechanical pencil, a Copic Multiliner SP fine-liner pen, and a Tombow Mono Zero "Metal Type" rectangular mechanical eraser.

Warning: This case is only designed for these three writing implements (with a 0.1 mm tolerance). Other items will probably not fit.

It is composed of two pieces that are secured together by magnets. The outside of the case is patterned with hatched grooves that act as a grip and looks great if you choose to fill with something like Sugru.

Print instructions

This model should be printed using SLA/DLP with the support structure on the outer (non-pencil) faces.

After removing the supports and filling the grooves with Sugru, wet sanding can reveal the smooth contours this case was designed to showcase.

The magnets used in this project are 4 x 2 mm.

Let me know if you have any questions :)
