Hi, I had a problem with the original design so I did a few tweaks. I changed the size of the side that "attaches" to the MacBook. Since I have a cover for it (the plastic ones you find on Amazon) the original version wouldn't fit properly. I hope this will help other people that use covers for their MacBooks, even though the V3 of this mount came out.
