Continental Carbon Microphone

Continental Carbon Microphone

thingiverse

This microphone was crafted for a college production of CHICAGO. Although we didn't need to insert a modern microphone inside, this design allows access to a spacious hollow area perfect for housing a Lavalier mic. The base and stem were directly borrowed from Jeremycon's vintage candlestick phone. Many thanks to Jeremy; this saved me a substantial amount of time. The base file includes a raft that I intentionally left on the print. I believed it added another interesting detail to the item. If you visit Jeremycon's original phone, there are other versions available for use.
