Contest Winner Plaque!
prusaprinters
I teach a weekly, small class of dyslexic kids at my son's school about design thinking. The aim is to encourage them to think big and realise that even though they may not excel at school they can still imagine and then create amazing things - it is super rewarding for us all! This summer the kids wanted to create bee feeders to sustain our local bee population to help to maintain the general ecosystem where we live in New Zealand. We entered my son's Awesome Bee Feeder into the PET Bottle Upcycling Contest and WON! The kids are so excited and I wanted to create a plaque for then to celebrate their Contest Winner status so here it is :)This is a 6 colour print and I just used the standard colour swap technique used in Prusa Slicer to get the effect I was after - the colour changes are as follows:Colour 1: 0-3.2mm: BlackColour 2: 3.2-3.4mm: Light GreyColour 3: 3.4-3.6mm: Dark GreyColour 4: 3.6-3.8mm: WhiteColour 5: 3.8-4.0mm: Dark Orange (I used Copper)Colour 6: 4.0mm: Light Orange (I used Gold - why not?!)NOTE: You can scale it but ensure to ONLY scale on the X and Y axis - NOT the Z axis as this will mess with the layer and colour printing!(ALSO - I've just noticed I missed a copper part on the left handle! All model and print files have been updated - V8 - I'll print another and repost the pictures.)We hope you enjoy it and if you want to check out the Bee Feeder you can find it here: https://www.printables.com/model/153547-awesome-bee-feeder
