Containers from fluorescent tube holders

Containers from fluorescent tube holders

I needed containers for dice, so I printed various types of caps to fit on the ends of transparent tubes purchased at a hardware store for moving fluorescent light tubes (approximately $3-$4 USD in 2019).\r\n\r\nCut a section from the tube, smooth out the ends, and add caps. You can also create elastic cord attachments to keep the caps secure, like I did. There are designs that allow the cords to go outside the container or inside.\r\n\r\nAll caps were designed for printing without supports, but results may vary.\r\n\r\nMy transparent tubes came with two black end caps. To make them more functional, I designed and printed discs that can be inserted and glued into place.\r\n\r\nI don't have separate .f3d files for most of the cap variants, but if you're interested, you can review the project history and possibly recreate them.
