Container locking sysstem
grabcad
The process begins with a crane picking up a container from a truck. The container then passes through a storage area equipped with twistlocks, which may be loaded automatically by a feeding device in the correct position. Once the container is equipped with twistlocks, it's loaded onto a ship and automatically locks to other containers on top. During unloading, the crane picks up the container again, leaving the twistlocks at the bottom. The process continues with the container being moved back to the feeding area and released from the twistlocks before being transported back to the truck. The steps are illustrated in a series of images explaining each stage of the operation.
