Container for 3D Printer Tools
thingiverse
I needed a container for my frequently used 3D Printer tools to stay organized and within reach. The original dimensions of the cup came from a snack container that was originally used to store pencils and pens. I had initially envisioned the cup as part of a mounting assembly, but soon realized it would be more convenient to have a standalone container sitting next to my printer - which is where the holes for the mount were intended. This design consists of three parts/files: The first one, "Container - Cup Rev2 with Mounting Holes" or "Container - Cup Rev3 - No Holes", is the actual cup/container. The second part/file, "Container - Small Container with Hanger STL", provides a smaller container for tiny tools like small Allen/hex wrenches, designed to be hooked and mounted on the main cup for easy access and organization. The third file, "Container - Tweezer Holder", holds a tweezer in place using double-sided adhesive strategically mounted on the container - I plan to print another one for myself and attach it directly to my printer for effortless access. Note that the tweezer holder is compatible with straight and pointy tweezers as well as angled ones.
