The Radiant VII was a Consular-Class Cruiser primarily used by the Republic for diplomatic missions during its era. It first appeared in the opening scene of Star Wars - The Phantom Menace. Original mesh created by Burningham Studios Converted to 3ds format by Vistrfinga Part of the SciFi 3D Universe Collection: www.scifi3d.com The reference model was converted into stl, split into easy-to-print sections and detailed with added greeblies by DavidBogaerts. The reference model is available under Republic Cruiser from Star Wars TPM. With the transition to the Clone War, many of these vessels were converted into a configuration known as the Charger C70 Retrofit. This upgrade increased the vessel's length and several heavy laser cannon turrets were added along with other militarization upgrades. The SP model here is a shorter variant (see the Boeing 747SP variant for understanding) and received only one quad laser turret in its upgrade. This results in a more printer-friendly model and a ship that differs significantly from the common CR90 Corvette in personality. Provided STL version was adapted for SLA printers. - Scaled down to 94% from Reference Model - Additional splitting done to fit in a typical resin printer - Some sections hollowed with drain holes to save on resin - Mid section and communication/turret sections re-done completely Assembled, the model is 281 mm long (the real-life SP variant would be around 108 meters long assuming a scale of 1/385).
