Construx panel 48mm x 48mm
thingiverse
It looks like most construx sets come up short on panels, and those that do arrive often fall apart quickly. After sorting through my collection, I'm down to just one usable panel. To address this issue, I've designed a new model and will print out additional copies. This idea was suggested by Jeff at http://construxion.tripod.com/, who shares some incredible builds - be sure to check out his website! One major problem with buying sets on eBay is the hefty price tag for just a few panels. Sellers won't part with 10 individual pieces for $1; instead, you're forced to buy the entire set for $50 and get unwanted extras. This is my first version of the model, with only two copies printed so far - they work well and stick firmly in place, matching the original's performance. Future updates might tighten up the measurements even further. I printed this model solid, without any support needed.
