This 3D foam puzzle construction toy features laser-cut parts and includes three moving railway carriages, a lift, and numerous other intricate details. The DWG files provide patterns for laser cutting (simply split them to fit your cutter size), and the required material is polyurethane foam similar to yoga mats. Interlocks are designed with flexibility in mind, making plastic an unsuitable choice. Files are categorized by thickness: 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, and 8mm for major components. The files include groups for Main City, Lift, Train (cut three of these), and City inhabitants (two robot types and two alien types). Start with cutting simple pieces like robots, trains, or aliens to familiarize yourself with the material, then proceed to cut the rest. A STEP file is also available for those who wish to explore further or understand the assembly process. Note that new DXF files have been uploaded to fix duplication issues (03.10.2011).
