Construction Modules
thingiverse
Hello there! This is my first contribution to the community! I'm excited to share with you a project that we completed this year in my Industrial Design and Product Development Engineering class. It was a fantastic experience, and I'm eager to hear your feedback. The objective of the project was to design a module that allows users to build infinite structures using a construction set. The pieces should fit together seamlessly, creating unique and intricate designs. We were required to create 10x10mm squares to ensure proper connections between each piece. To create the module, we had to use basic shapes like polygons, circles, or combinations of several shapes. The design process was all about adding or subtracting these shapes to achieve the desired outcome. I created the STL file using Fusion360, and I'm proud to say that it's the original design I presented in class. If you'd like to modify the file, feel free to do so - it's a parametric design! For those interested in learning more about parametric design, I've included an OpenSCAD file as part of our Mathematics II practical class. You can use this file to explore and experiment with different designs. Finally, don't forget to share your Makes and Remixes - I'd love to see how you incorporate my module into your own projects!
With this file you will be able to print Construction Modules with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Construction Modules.
