Constellation map

Originally published here: Constellation map by tato_713 - ThingiverseThis is a projection of the night sky into a sphere modelled with MATLAB R2016a, making a mashup of the crude sky and constellation maps from the NASA web site. The brighter the point in the surface lower is the radius in that point. I preferred this way instead of a direct bright to radius relation, because rendered like this will result in stars like spikes, that is will be difficult to print. You can notice the wide depression that it represents the Milky Way. It is inclined from the equator because the galactic plane is not in line with the Solar System's one, in which the map is referenced.
