Console Piano Replacement Parts

Console Piano Replacement Parts

thingiverse

These are custom replacement parts for a Mason and Hamlin console piano. A dead key issue arose due to jack malfunctions. Broken bakelite jacks had deteriorated over time, making the keys inoperable. After replacement, the piano is now fully operational. Measuring from existing components, accurate 3D models were created within FreeCAD software. The parts were then printed using a PrintrBot Simple 1401 3D printer, which used PLA filament at 195°C with layer thickness of 0.2mm. Slicing was done via Cura and the print was managed by Repetier Host.
