This model is from Herve Langlais' 2016 Colored Abstractions collection for Galerie Negropontes, inspired by geometric abstraction movement artists like Josef Albers and the use of color in interaction with perception. Featuring pure geometric forms, simplified shapes through intense color interactions, and inspired by Italy's luxury houses and jewelry, Langlais uses lacquer to enhance colors in a rich, shiny palette and palm marquetry for an Art Deco touch. The console model showcased is Robert Stadler's Cut_Paste #10, made of Carrara marble, Nero Marquina marble, and Olimpo striato marble with aluminum legs measuring 120L x 239W x 50H (cm) or 3.9L x 7.8W x 1.6H (feet). The console is a limited edition of 8 + 4 AP.
