thingiverse
A proposal to install a 234-mm howitzer on the chassis of the Conqueror tank actually made it onto blueprints. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2X Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes How I Designed This I used the SketchUp program to create this project, and measuring it was quite an adventure. I turned to the World of Tanks game engine for help and utilized its 3D orientation camera to view the model on screen. So what I did was use a ruler and protractor to measure it off of the screen. Instructions Scale following parts at the correct sizes by adjusting the x-axis ONLY and pressing enter after typing the correct size. (Note these are scaled depending on how they're oriented in the file Conqueror_Gun_Carriage.thing) ConquerorGC Anchor: 24.75mm ConquerorGC Chassis: 125mm ConquerorGC Gun: 14.32mm ConquerorCG Mount: 49.09mm ConquerorGC Tracks: 121.94mm IMPORTANT NOTES!!!! (These are adjustments I found that would give the best results) When printing the Anchor, Gun, and the Tracks make sure you have Infill Density set at 100% and the resolution set at High. Some of these parts can be really small, thin, fragile, and stringy filament. Make sure you have the following turned on or checked Rafts -Supports -Leaky Connections If you are using a Replicator 2x printer adjust the build plate temperature to 130 degrees Create a pin using metal wire to hold the Gun and Gun mount together and cut the wire short enough to be flush with the sides, otherwise the turret won't move.
