I didn't find any solution, so I created this thing to hold connectors at an angle (15 degree increments) for easier soldering. It works with D sub connectors up to DB-25, DVI, round connectors and probably more. Materials needed: - 1x 100mm M6 screw, hex head, the one I used has 20mm of threads at the end - 1x 40mm M4 screw - M4/M6 washers and nuts - A small spring for the angle adjust - A reasonably soft spring for the jaws (depending on the size(s) of the connectors you want to use), around 80mm - An alligator clip for the coolant pipe arm, with some heatshrink on the teeth - G1/8" coolant pipe, the base has a conical hole where the used one I had fits nicely Placing the main spring on the other side of the jaws so that the bolt sticks out seems to improve functionality even if it looks worse.
