I loved the idea by NerdCorner and immediately thought about creating a parameter-based OpenScad script for it. This should accomodate any strip with any number of pins. One limitation: this script assumes the solder pads on your LED strip are evenly spaced. update 15.3.23: found one line where the dimension of the cable connector was set to a fixed number (2.54mm) instead of the defined variable ... I fixed the file.
