Connector for 101818 aluminum profile
thingiverse
I needed a housing for my 3D printer to use ABS effectively, so I decided to create a plexiglass case to hold the printer. I had eighteen point five by eighteen point five aluminum profiles at my disposal, which inspired me to get started on this project. This is one of the corners that I designed and constructed for this enclosure, and soon I will be publishing tutorials on how to make T, L, and Star shape connectors as well. To use these connectors, you'll need to thread the holes in each profile from both sides with an M5 thread and then secure them with hex-head bolts. Three bolts per corner are required for each connector, just like in the photos I've included. Great job on taking this project to the next level!
