Connect Crystal Light Containers Together
thingiverse
This is a versatile ring and peg system that makes it simple to link together any number of crystal light plastic containers. The containers are convenient but quickly become disorganized, so this system prints a ring that wraps around the container with precision. The ring has holes on all four sides, and its associated peg perfectly connects any two rings without restriction, allowing for an unlimited array of containers to be combined. The peg is shaped like a hexagon and fits snugly into a round hole, creating a very secure connection. Additionally, the rings fit tightly around the containers, making it easy to push them together. A small amount of glue would make the entire system even more durable and long-lasting. For users who want customization options, they can choose to print 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4 pegs along with the ring. The system also includes a "peg.stl" file that allows users to print just a peg without the ring if desired. Important note: The Crystal Light containers used in this example are all exactly 2.0 x 2.5 inches, but users who have containers of different sizes can easily modify the .scad file to fit their specific needs. Print settings: Printer: FlashForge Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 15% Notes: This print is very easy and straightforward.
