I'm constantly seeking innovative ways to integrate technology into the classroom, which is why having a 3D printer in my room has opened up exciting possibilities for my jewelry class. This lesson is specifically designed for advanced high school art students who specialize in jewelry and wearable art. Throughout this lesson, students will gain hands-on experience with the components and benefits of 3D printing technology, learn the fundamentals of 3D modeling, and successfully create a one-of-a-kind wearable object using 3D printing techniques. They will also become familiar with various art-related terms and concepts specific to 3D printing. This lesson is still in development, but I'll be posting updates once more students have successfully designed and printed their unique pieces.
