Archeological site of Confluencia 1 located in the town of Antofagasta de la Sierra, Catamarca - Argentina at geographical coordinates S 26°02’40.75”; W 67°25’04.83”, at an elevation of 3380 meters above sea level.\nThis site is one of the most important for Antofagasta de la Sierra as it displays nearly 100 meters of rocky frontage with numerous panels featuring hundreds of motives that allow recognizing a continuity in rock art production from hunter-gatherer moments to the Hispano-Indigenous Contact, being the longest rocky frontage used in the region (Aschero 2007; Martel et al. 2012).
