Conflat (CF) Flange Set

This extensive collection of Conflat (CF) flanges in stock, blank and gasket forms is available for all to use. Initially intended for high-vacuum system experimentation, the set's main CF flanges can be easily welded to steel pipes following provided dimensions, accommodating standard equipment like pumps or chambers. The flanges are designed for 304 SS pipe but are versatile with other steels and metals. Aluminum is specifically cautioned against due to dimensional differences. CF flanges, bolt-through flanges designed for high-vacuum or high-pressure differential mates, use a copper gasket instead of an O-ring. The tight seal is achieved by the knife edge biting into the copper ring under pressure from the bolts. Though standardized, some dimensions may vary between manufacturers. This set provides stock flanges in 1.33", 2.75", and 4.50" sizes in SLDPRT and IGES formats, dimensional drawings in SLDDRW and PDF, copper gaskets for all sizes, blanks (end caps), and 4K resolution renders.
