Configurable wall-mount remote-control holder

Configurable wall-mount remote-control holder

thingiverse

This wall-mount is designed to hold my LED light bulbs' remote control, and it's written in SCAD so that you can customize the parameters to create a similar mount for any object with a rectangular shape. As implemented in the STL file, this mount requires two #6 panhead screws to install. You'll need to drill holes in the back panel of your object to accommodate these screws. UPDATE: I've added the ability to configure the mount to work with countersunk screws or to have a skeletonized back panel that uses less material. Keep in mind that I haven't tested the countersink geometry with actual screws, so use this feature at your own risk.
