thingiverse
This is an upgraded version of my original 8mm Rod Clamp design.\r\n\r\nYou can now customize various features:\r\n- Select from a range of rod sizes\r\n- Choose different input and output shaft diameters\r\n- Specify clamp size, including both height and diameter\r\n- Set the number of screws (equally spaced) and their metric size and length\r\n- Opt for a slide-on feature with an optional clamping block\r\n- Design a two-piece clamp with double-sided functionality\r\n- Select from round shafts or those with 1 or 2 facets, separately configured for input and output shafts\r\n\r\nThe design includes a model that can be easily slid onto a rod without removing it.\r\n\r\nThis upgraded version is fully functional, but I welcome your suggestions to further improve the design.\r\n\r\nUpdated - December 17, 2018\r\nAdded faceted shaft configurations for input and output shafts with 1 or 2 facets\r\n\r\nUpdated - October 11, 2018\r\nEnabled different input versus output shaft options, making it suitable as an adapter\r\n\r\nUpdated - September 30, 2018\r\nIntroduced two new modes: a double-sided design consisting of two pieces and another featuring a slide-in clamping block for added convenience
