Configurable case for SD & Micro SD Cards
thingiverse
This memory card holder can be built using 1-8 card holders called Blades. The SD card Blade holds four cards, while the Micro SD card Blade can hold up to sixteen cards. You can stack any combination of Blades in the frame of the holder. Each Blade swings freely but locks into place when closed. A hinge pin is captured between two sides called Scales. I constructed it from 1/8" aluminum rod supplied by K&S Precision Metals, which is readily available at most hobby shops and craft stores. Cut the rod to length and file the ends about four millimeters longer than the total stack of Blades. Ten #4-1/2" Phillips head screws are needed for assembly. Two styles of Scales are available: a blank pair and a pair that says "SD & Micro SD". If you combine the Micro SD Blade with the SD Blade, I recommend placing the Micro SD Blade so its recesses face the Scale. Otherwise, when turned upside down, the Micro SD cards tend to fall out into the large hole and cause binding. Thank you, \r\n
