Configurable case for Arduino Uno with LCD keypad shield

This case requires an Arduino Uno paired with a 16x2 alphanumeric LCD shield featuring a simple keypad and optionally includes room for additional components like a 9V battery and switch. A variety of physical designs exist for the 16x2 LCD; one such variant incorporates a multiturn potentiometer in the top left corner, available here:http://www.hobbytronics.co.uk/arduino-lcd-keypad-shield . Be aware that some LCD shields' leftmost switches conflict with the power connector. Trim these pins to ensure proper fitting and assembly. The case is fully customizable, enabling you to select which contacts and keys to include, as well as adding an extra room for a battery, power switch, or more electronics (small boards width adjustable). The case assembles through snapping pieces together. For a hassle-free assembly, choose connected buttons or use individual ones, but keep in mind you might need to trim soldering above the power connector for both boards to fit properly and the case to snap shut. One application of this design is a portable weight display consisting of an Uno, LCD shield, battery, switch, and one or two HX711 cards interfacing with strain gauges. Note that the difference is negligible, but I believe this updated fit is superior; refer to the original version in arduino_uno_lcd_orig.scad if needed. If problems arise with warping, try building with a brim to correct this issue.
