Configurable Air Plug

Configurable Air Plug

This is a simple air plug designed specifically for an inflatable toy. It's a carefully crafted duplicate of one used for a particular toy, but with customizable features that ensure it should work seamlessly for other toys as well. The openscad source code is remarkably concise and serves as an excellent introduction to the powerful openscad language. I reworked this project on Fusion 360, including the original source file for reference. The bulge has a slightly different shape due to variations in scaling between openscad and Fusion 360. Additionally, I modified the length of the small section to exclude the beveled part. To make it easy to edit dimensions, I positioned all the adjustable parameters on the right side of the sketch, while the calculated values are displayed on the left side. **Print Settings** * Printer Brand: FlashForge * Printer: Creator Pro * Rafts: Yes * Supports: No * Resolution: 0.2mm * Infill: 30% * Notes: The raft is highly recommended due to its tall and narrow design, which can easily get pushed over unless the top diameter is made fairly large. **Design Process** I utilized openscad to create this air plug design.
