Cone Rolls Uphill
thingiverse
In the October 1944 Popular Science issue, it was demonstrated that a diamond-shaped cone placed at the ramp's base seemingly rolls uphill. To recreate this experiment, first print two copies of each ramp piece, and then glue the cones together to form a diamond shape. Assemble the ramp pieces to create a large, diamond-shaped structure with the highest point in the middle. Before testing, note that some warping may occur; however, it still works effectively. For better results, consider making the pieces slightly smaller and printing them on their side, ensuring a smoother ramp surface for the cone's movement and increased build platform area.
