The cone seems to defy gravity, rolling effortlessly up the hill. But what's actually happening is that its center of mass is gradually descending. For a deeper understanding, check out www.eckerd.edu/3d-physics. After the print job was complete, I reinforced the cone by super gluing its two parts together. Next, I sanded the top surface to create a smooth layer, allowing it to glide up the ramp with ease as it formed perfectly defined steps.
